Penny Wins the Griffpatch Game Jam!

Hey Adventurers! 

We have something super exciting to share—not just about Adventure Land, but about our very own Penny!

Earlier this year, Penny entered the Griffpatch Academy Game Jam, themed “Sticky Situation”, and... she won the Casual Game category! 🎉🪰💥

Under her game dev profile OwlGirl2016, Penny created a totally original Scratch game called “Your Sticky Life as a Fly.” She did everything—the art, the music, the voiceovers, the story—and Dad helped bring it all together with the code. It’s a funny, sticky, chaotic little adventure where you play as a fly trying to survive a surprisingly intense day. (And yes, it’s as adorable as it sounds.)

Winning a game jam judged by Griffpatch—Scratch’s most famous creator with over 1 million followers—is a huge honor, and we couldn’t be prouder!! 👏

We see this as a major milestone in Penny’s journey as a game designer. She's not just the inspiration behind Adventure Land—she's shaping it with her ideas, characters, writing, and humor. This win is just the beginning!
